To all the veterans out there, we salute you! Thank you for your service and sacrifice. Special thanks to two of mctlaw's heroes, Benjamin Christian and Heather Diener.

Ben spent 4 years on Active Duty with the US Army as a Judge Advocate and served in Kuwait and Iraq. He is currently an Army Reservist serving as a Trial Defense Counsel.

Heather served in the US Navy Reserves for 10 years and spent active training in the Philippines; San Francisco, CA; and Jacksonville, FL. Heather used the G.I. Bill to get her degree in Paralegal Studies.

Attorney Talis Abolins interviewed about the kratom industry's push to bypass the FDA's requirement to prove kratom is safe before selling it.
