On Monday, December 9, 2019, Damian Mallard and staff delivered a truckload of toys to Sarasota's Salvation Army Angel Tree toy drive. The toys were collected from attendees at the Mallard Law Firm's Annual Holiday Party held on Friday, December 6. Over $10,000 in toys were collected for Angel Tree. Mr. Mallard stated "It's a blessing to be able to help children have a happier Christmas!"

As a lawyer who regularly sues Nursing Homes, i can tell you this article discusses a big reason why Nursing Home abuse is such a big problem....not paying staff enough, not having enough staff, etc

The strike comes after more than six months of contract negotiations with employees of the Venice nursing home and 19 other Florida facilities owned by the parent company, Consulate Health Care, trying to achieve a $15 minimum wage for all workers.

Today we changed the law in the state of Florida for the benefit of all citizens. in Joerg v. State Farm we won an appeal in the Supreme Court of this state (our highest court) protecting the rights of disabled citizens as well as those on medicare to recover ALL their future medical damages, not reduced amounts as State Farm had tried to argue. State Farm had tried to shift their contractual burden (our client bought insurance with this company) to the PUBLIC and the supreme court said no. We are very happy for Luke Joerg, our client
