If you have PTSD from your military service and you have never filed a VA claim, this carousel is for you. ποΈ
PTSD is a recognized, compensable disability. The VA is required to rate it, and the rating scale goes from 0% all the way to 100% depending on how your symptoms impact your work, your relationships, and your daily life. Many veterans are living with significant impairment and receiving little to nothing because their claim was never filed correctly or never filed at all.
You do not need a combat record to qualify. Qualifying stressors include Military Sexual Trauma, witnessing death or serious injury, threats to your life during service, and training accidents. π
If your PTSD claim was denied, it is usually because of a missing nexus letter, an understated C&P exam, or an incomplete stressor statement. Every single one of those issues can be fixed. A denial is not the end. It is the beginning of your appeal. βοΈ
Veterans Affairs Law fights PTSD claims every day. Let us review your case and tell you where you stand.
