We're so happy to have Michael “Miko” Mallonga, the newest member of our Kerosky & Gallelli team! Miko just graduated with honors from Empire School of Law, and is working for us now as a Immigration Case Manager. Miko will be joining us as a new lawyer and associate after he takes the Bar Exam in February. Miko is a native of the Philippines and speaks Tagalog and conversational Spanish. Gabriela Berlanga is providing life-changing care to children with severe disabilities. Gabriela is a passionate Speech and Language Pathologist from Mexico, with expertise in the field of Augmentative and Alternative Communication. Her dedication to improving the lives of students with disabilities has been recognized through her collaboration with the Mexican Ministry of Education. As the founder and director of CATIC, a therapy center in Mexico City, Gabriela's impact has been far-reaching. We are humbled to be a part of her journey to the United States and look forward to seeing her continued success in serving the community.

The H-1B visa is a nonimmigrant work visa that allows U.S. employers to hire foreign workers with specialized skills to work in the United States for a specific period of time. The challenge to get successful results is to show USCIS that not only does the alien have the required requirements but that typically, the roles require a bachelor's degree or equivalent.
