Well-deserved CONGRATS to our own Board Treasurer and champion, Charlotte Radmilovic, for being a recipient of North Bay Business Journal's 2026 Influential Women Award! We also want to extend our congrats to Dr. Mariana Martinez of Graton Day Labor Center (Centro Laboral de Graton) and the other phenomenal women recognized in our community! 🦋

Charlotte Radmilovic rose to chief financial officer before age 40 and now serves as senior vice president and CFO at Exchange Bank, where she is known for translating complex financial strategy into growth.

We are witnessing this every day. It's not making headline news, but the Board of Immigration Appeals (BIA) is issuing mind boggling decisions every day that obliterate due process, make a mockery of our judicial system system, and dehumanize people in every way. The stakes could not be higher for those impacted by these decisions and we need a regime change now.🦋

The article is available in Espanol as well:

As the Department of Justice’s highest immigration court quietly slashes immigrants’ rights, due process is increasingly elusive.

Lower Russian River + Wine = DIVINE! We love our local community.🦋

In solidarity with the National Strike and in partnership with our neighbors , a portion of our sales this weekend will be donated to V.I.D.A.S. — Vital Immigrant Defense Advocacy & Services in Santa Rosa, supporting immigrant legal defense in Sonoma County.

This moment is deeply personal to us, and we spent time sitting with how to show up with care and integrity.

If you’re here with us this weekend, know that your support helps fund immigrant legal defense close to home.

Thank you for holding space for nuance, care, and community. 🤍

Our forever coffee shop! Make it a double shot - we've got a lot of work to do.🦋

For those asking, it is not an easy decision but we will be open tomorrow. As a small business, closing for a day is difficult. A closure costs money… it creates food waste, lost income, and added financial strain at a time when our rent and utilities have increased, making it hard to miss even a day. We aren’t a big business, we don’t have investors. We run on small margins while trying to do our best to provide for our team, keep our prices as low as possible, and give back whenever we can. We don’t just own our business, we work FOR our business. Many of our team members also rely on their hours for their livelihood. The times don’t ever seem to get easier but we are always trying to do our best.

We stand in solidarity with our neighbors—locally and nationally—who are facing fear and uncertainty due to ICE brutality in their communities. We support those choosing to opt out of economic participation and hope you understand the difficult position many small businesses like ours are in.

We also proudly support VIDAS, whose work has helped secure immigration relief for more than 800 people and advocated against the deportation of 180 people in 2025. They have an extraordinary impact in our community. We also support NBOP, who do vital work, including serving as watchdogs to help verify and monitor ICE activity in our area. We believe in supporting organizations that strengthen and protect our community, and we hope you’ll join us in supporting their work in whatever ways you’re able. Organizations like theirs need support year round.

Lastly, we always encourage cash to avoid CC processing fees, and we are proud to support many small businesses through the work we do daily to keep our money local. I believe the impact we have on our community is a positive one. We make an effort with every decision we make to do it with heart and what aligns with our values, while we also face the reality of how challenging this landscape is (and really always has been) to operate in. We are grateful for everyone’s understanding and support, your support allows us to support other organizations in our community. We are stronger together. ❤️

"During the darkest days of the AIDS crisis, we buried our friends in the morning, we protested in the afternoon, and we danced all night. The dance kept us in the fight because it was the dance we were fighting for. It didn’t look like we were going to win then and we did. It doesn’t feel like we’re going to win now but we could. Keep fighting, keep dancing.” - Dan Savage

Join us for a phenomenal performance by Sol Flamenco and deepest gratitude to Audacity Rising for merging music into the movement and making so much possible in our community.🦋
