Influencer Brand Agreements: Use of Deliverables
Minisode Two of Season Nine. Jon continues our in-depth discussion of influencer agreements and brand deals, diving into one of the most important—and often misunderstood—parts of negotiating these deals: how brands can use the content that influencers create. We’re talking about “usage rights” or “content licensing”—in other words, what can the brand actually do with your content after you’ve delivered it?
We will continue to take a deep dive into each section of an influencer agreement in the minisodes to come in this special series.

Kasper Sierslev: The Social Media ZITE- geist.
Our interview of Kasper Sierslev for “The Creative Influencer” podcast is available today for download on iTunes, Spotify, and premier platforms everywhere as Episode Three of Season Nine.
Kasper is a marketing expert with over 20 years of experience working in-house, including as the head of creative at a large logistics shipping company. He has also built in-house creative agencies at several FORTUNE 500 companies and recently co-founded his own agency, ZITE.
Kasper discusses how creativity is increasingly moving in-house for brands and their marketing, with more companies bringing creative work in-house rather than relying solely on external agencies, because of their direct connections to their product and customers. He is the author of the book “Incredible: Under the Hood of In-House Creativity.”
Kasper discusses the advantages of various platforms: effectiveness of LinkedIn for thought leadership, TikTok for certain products, and the potential for longer-form content on platforms like TikTok.
And when the discussion turns to A.I., Kasper believes that artificial intelligence will help creativity by raising the “bottom” and inspiring new ideas, but that human curation and selection of the best ideas will remain crucial.

The Influencer Agreements Series: Content Submission & Review
Minisode One of Season Nine. Jon continues our in-depth discussion of influencer agreements and brand deals, discussing Content Submission & Review.
This step is where you submit your deliverables to the brand for approval before the campaign goes live. It’s essentially a quality check to make sure your content aligns with the brand’s vision, meets legal and creative guidelines, and delivers the right message. It is also often outlined in the Influencer Brand Agreement—specifically the exact steps and the number of rounds for revisions.
We will continue to take a deep dive into each section of an influencer agreement in the minisodes to come in this special series.

The Influencer Agreements Series: The Creative Brief

Today, in the second minisode of the eighth season of “The Creative Influencer” podcast, Jon continues our in-depth discussion of influencer agreements and brand deals, discussing the Creative Brief—the twin sister of deliverables (covered in the last minisode).

A creative brief is essentially a blueprint written by the brand, laying out all the key elements of how they want their product or message represented. It’s like a roadmap for your content creation, making sure the brand’s voice, message, and visual identity remain consistent across all their marketing efforts—including your work as an influencer.

We will continue to take a deep dive into each section of an influencer agreement in the minisodes to come in this special series.

“I think if you're starting to see, okay, I'm getting a little bit of growth and I've had a couple of people outreach to me. I really need a manager. You don't need a manager.
