That’s a wrap. 🎈
Today is the last day of Balloon Fiesta, and I’m still thinking about how much I love this New Mexican tradition. Hundreds of balloons lighting or lifting up at once against our perfect sky, glowing in time to the music. Thousands of us just standing there looking up. Goodbye for now, see you next October.

Everything I ate at the Santa Fe Harvest Festival… and yes, I took this assignment very seriously. 😂

If you’re looking for something to do in Santa Fe TODAY, this is one of my favorite fall traditions.

The Santa Fe Harvest Festival at El Rancho de las Golondrinas has been happening for more than 50 years, and there is SO much more going on than food.

Think peak New Mexico fall:

🎃 Pick a pumpkin from the pumpkin patch
🌶️ Learn how traditional red chile ristras are made
🍇 Watch grape stomping at the old w**ery
🌽 Make corn husk crafts
🚜 Take a harvest hayride
🦬 Meet Harley “the Buffalo”
🛍️ Shop local artists and makers
🍺 Try New Mexico b**r, w**e and c***r
🎶 And catch live music and traditional dance throughout the day.

And then, obviously, eat your way through the festival.

Today’s food lineup includes Il Incanto, Fusion, Vixs BBQ, Jesushi, Hot Stuff, Strawberries and More, Loaded Lemon and Flamingo Steves.

Today’s entertainment starts with Mariachi Kraken at 10, followed by Tíos Míos at 11, interactive New Mexico dance lessons at noon, the Zuni Olla Maidens at 1 and Los Niños de Santa Fe at 2. Hayrides and grape stomping run from noon to 3.

Children 12 and under are free. Tickets are limited, and Las Golondrinas recommends getting them in advance.

If you’ve never been to Las Golondrinas in the fall, this is the weekend I’d go. The old adobe buildings, golden cottonwoods, food, music, pumpkins and New Mexico traditions make the whole place feel like October was invented specifically for us.

And apparently I recommend arriving hungry. 😂

I thought Nick was coming to show me another AI marketing tool.
