It is truly an honor to be sworn in this Saturday as Orange County Trial Lawyers Association’s Secretary for 2024. It has been my pleasure to serve this incredible organization the past several years and I look forward to serving OCTLA and its members for years to come. I am excited for the upcoming year and seeing everyone this weekend at OCTLA’s Installation and Awards Program.

This was my first Hawaii case after passing the Hawaii bar. Long story short, I took it over right before the statute and ended up filing the complaint while my wife was in labor with our first child. (Shout to my wife for being my ride or die). My client tripped and fell on a variance in parking lot and sustained a very significant shoulder injury that required surgery. It was a tough liability case and I learned that Hawaii is a modified comparative fault state, which made it even harder. After 3 years of litigation and an all day mediation, I got the case settled for my deserving client.

On December 16, 2022, Chantell and I welcomed Wyatt Tristan Chambers into the world at 8:08 a.m. He was 9 pounds 4 ounces and 20.5 inches. He is in the 95 percentile for weight and 83 percentile in height. A beautiful, big baby boy with a full head of dark hair.

Couldn’t be prouder of my amazing wife and baby mama for giving birth to our Christmas butterball! I don’t usually say this but she was right and she knew Wyatt was a big baby. She was a champ the entire pregnancy and I’m still in awe from how tough and brave she was throughout the pregnancy and birth!

While I truly enjoyed the tag , I am beyond excited to carry the tag ! I am in love with my family…Chantell, Keira and now Wyatt. 🎄

Last week, I had the honor of receiving my ABOTA plaque. It was a great event to install the incoming board and to enjoy a night with the best trial lawyers in the country. ABOTA is a national association of trial lawyers that requires an invite to become a member. To be considered, a lawyer must exhibit civility, integrity and professionalism, coupled with sufficient trial experience. I am proud to receive my plaque and be a member of this phenomenal organization.

This was a tough liability case at a resort in Hawai’i but my client had a bad injury that effected every aspect of her life. Fortunately, the insurance company did the right thing by resolving it before litigation.

I am officially licensed in the state of Washington. Last year I got a case going to trial in Washington. So, I decided to submit my application for admission. Fast forward to a couple of weeks ago and right before trial, the trial judge swore me in to be a member of the bar to be ready to go for trial. Unfortunately, the trial got continued to the fall.
