I’m honored to have been selected to serve as the Orange County chapter’s National Board Representative for the American Board of Trial Advocates for 2026–2028.

ABOTA is dedicated to preserving the constitutional right to a civil jury trial, promoting civility and professionalism in the courtroom, and mentoring the next generation of trial lawyers. As the National Board Representative, I’ll work alongside exceptional advocates from across the country to advance ABOTA’s mission, support programs like the Masters in Trial and Courthouse Steps Program, and represent the interests of the Orange County chapter at the national level.

Thank you to my colleagues in OC ABOTA for the confidence and trust. I look forward to contributing to the continued growth and excellence of our profession.

Ten years ago today, I was sworn into the California Bar.

It’s been an incredible decade of practicing law. Over these past ten years, I have:
⚖️ Tried 19 cases
⚖️ Argued twice in the 4th District Court of Appeals
⚖️ Expanded into six additional jurisdictions (North Dakota, Washington D.C., Hawaii, Arizona, Colorado, and Washington)
⚖️ Graduated from the Trial Lawyers College
⚖️ Elected to the Executive Committee of OCTLA, where I am currently serving as 2nd Vice President
⚖️ Honored to receive the OCTLA Top Gun – Young Gun Award (2024)
⚖️ Became a proud member of ABOTA (2022)

But the most meaningful milestone of all: starting a law firm with my wife and trial partner, Cervantes & Chambers, PC.

Grateful for the clients who trust us, the mentors and colleagues who inspire us, and the opportunities this profession provides. Looking forward to the next chapter of growth, advocacy, and justice.

On November 2, 2024, I was awarded the OCTLA Young Gun Award at the Top Gun Gala. It was an amazing night celebrating the Top Gun Award winners and raising money for a Quarter Blue. The Young Gun award is given to a trial lawyer that has practiced less than 10 years and shows the commitment to take their clients’ cases to trial. It was an amazing privilege to accept this award.
