In a state with the toughest gun laws - CALIFORNIA, another mass shooting that California Gov. Gavin Newsom called the attack at the Lunar New Year celebration "horrific and heartless."

Threat Management & Protection and The Top Gun Training Centre, LLC express our condolences to the victims and their families, along with our thoughts being with all affected by this horrific crime, especially first responders, who are exposed to this trauma on a daily basis.

A mass shooting in Monterey Park, California, which is located inside Los Angeles County, where people were celebrating the Lunar New Year festival left at least 10 dead.

Now isn't this SPECIAL. This boy was on the authorities radar. Prior weapon issues and history of not only his, but familial bizarre behavior. Another case of it isn't the GUN, it is the long troubled history, where significant interventions SHOULD have taken place. Everyone is entitled to their privacy but where is the line, as significant cues were posted on SOCIAL MEDIA. Food for thought...

And of many of today’s Mass Casualty Incidents this crisis appears to be the most egregious. Manifesto, livestream, drove 200 miles to target his victims. People learn what to do in an active shooter incident. To all his neighbors and associates, did you see or hear something and NOT SAY SOMETHING? This is TARGETED violence, most likely the most predictable as opposed to a gunfight outside a stadium (Milwaukee). Maintain 360 degree situational awareness at all times. It isn’t the guns, it is the people acting out.
