HOW DOES IT WORK?
The Process
• A person or business uploads documents to be signed and notarized
• We are going to contact you to set an appointment for the virtual meeting and process the payment
• We upload the documents and enter required information to the RON platform (SIGNiX)
• The signer receives an email with an invite to a Zoom (or alternative video platform) meeting
• During the meeting the signer will follow a link that was sent in a separate email to review the documents and begin the authentication process. As soon as the meeting starts the system begins recording
• SIGNiX completes identity validation and credential analysis
• The signer digitally signs the documents, and we perform an electronic notarization
• The signer and/or business entity receive copies of the notarized documents
*A copy of the audio-video recording, including the authentication process and details about the signer, witnesses and documents, is uploaded to our digital journal*SIGNiX stores the video recording and related data for 90 days and in compliance with Florida law*An online notary that is registered with the Department of State can perform any notarial act over an audio-video connection except solemnizing a marriage.
