• Requests for passwords or private keys

✅ Protect yourself:
• Only use official, verified websites
• Never share passwords or private keys
• If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is

We’re proud to introduce Nick Protentis, 2026 President of the Sandy Springs Bar Association!

Nick is the founder of Protentis Law and brings more than 12 years of experience as a trial lawyer. His career includes serving as insurance defense counsel, leading cases to verdict, and later representing clients in complex matters involving construction defects, fire and explosion cases, and product liability.

Nick earned his law degree from Georgia State University College of Law, where he focused on litigation and completed a year-long externship with the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of Georgia. Prior to law school, he worked in public service with Habitat for Humanity and AmeriCorps.

In addition to his legal practice, Nick serves as a member on the Board of Advisors for the Shepherd Center and remains deeply engaged in the Atlanta legal community.

We’re excited for the experience, perspective, and leadership Nick will bring to the SSBA in 2026!

We held our first luncheon of the year today, marking Lisa Wells’ final luncheon as our 2025 President. Our new board was officially sworn in by the Honorable Sandy Sorings Municipal Judge, Marcia Ernst, and we had a great turnout.

Thank you to everyone who joined us. If you missed today’s luncheon, please plan to join us for the next one on February 11 at 11:30 a.m. at Tre Vele with guest speaker Mayor Rusty Paul.
