Please join us in congratulating Zach Haas, the newest recipient of the Murray & Murray Charitable Foundation Annual Scholarship. Since 1999, the foundation has proudly supported Sandusky High School seniors. The foundation’s mission is to enhance the quality of the Erie County community and address the needs of its citizens, with a primary focus on youth-related initiatives.

Zach was selected for his outstanding academic achievements and his impressive involvement in music at SHS and throughout the community. He plans to attend Bowling Green State University to pursue a degree in music education.

We are proud to support students like Zach and wish him continued success in this next chapter!

Not all hospitals are created equal, especially when it comes to pregnancy and emergency care.

Those blue “H” signs on the road may look the same, but the level of care available can be very different from one hospital to another.

It’s worth knowing ahead of time where the nearest trauma center or specialized care facility is. In an emergency, having a plan matters.
