When we first met this seller, he was stuck.

His wife had passed away without a trust, he lived out of state, and he had been trying to navigate the California probate process on his own. After months without much progress, we connected him with a great local probate attorney who helped get the estate moving forward and gave him the authority needed to sell.

Then, it was our turn to step in. We coordinated the tenant move-out, pest mitigation, property prep, and listed the house for sale with a thorough marketing campaign. Within 7 days, we had over 30 showings and 16 offers, which ultimately drove the price $90,000 over asking.

There were a few curveballs along the way that we navigated together through great collaboration with the buyer’s agent, lender, attorney, and everyone involved. We are so happy that our seller and the beneficiaries can finally close this chapter and move on from the stressful situation. We never thought we’d get to visit a nuclear reactor, but here we are! This was an incredible opportunity with the San Luis Obispo Chamber of Commerce to visit Diablo Canyon Power Plant.

The facility produces clean, reliable energy for 4 million Californians, accounting for nearly 10% of California’s energy production. It was fascinating to learn more about nuclear power, why Diablo Canyon is one of the top-rated facilities in the country, and the impact it has on our local community.

Diablo Canyon provides 1,200 household-supporting jobs, generates millions of dollars in tax revenue for local schools and infrastructure, and brings in approximately 1,000 people during its annual outages, further stimulating the local economy.

We have several friends and clients who work at Diablo, and now we’ve finally had the chance to visit and see it up close and personal! What an experience! ⚡️🏭
