The California Dream For All Shared Appreciation Loan Program is reopening in late February 2026, offering major help towards your first home! 💰

🔑 What it does:
This state run program provides down payment and closing cost assistance up to 20% of the purchase price (max $150,000), through a shared appreciation loan. (you pay back the assistance plus a share of the home value when you sell or refinance).

📆 Key Dates:
📍February 24, 2026 - Application portal opens.
📍March 16, 2026 Application Closes.
Selected applicants will be chosen by lottery (not first-come, first-served).

💡Important Notes:
✔️Must be a first-time and first-generation homebuyer.
✔️Must work with a CalHFA approved lender to get pre-approved before applying.
✔️If selected, you will have 90 days to find your home and reserve the assistance.
