Professional growth often comes from unexpected places. In our latest article, Syria-based team member Haya Al-Habal reflects on her experience representing Lloyd & Mousilli in the Companies Debate Challenge, where she was tasked with arguing a position that ran counter to her own. The event was organized by JCI Syria and sponsored by the Damascus Chamber of Commerce and Syriatel.
The experience left her with a renewed appreciation for the value of seeing all sides of a complex issue - a skill that is core to the practice of law and client service.

What is it like to step onto the debate stage for the very first time, facing a team from one of the country's largest companies? For me, it was a challenging, special, and ultimately rewarding experience that taught me as much about myself as it did about business.
