Michelle D. Brodie graduated from the University of South Carolina cm laude in 1982. She graduated in the top 17% of her class from the University of South Carolina School of Law in 1986 and was selected for Law Review, one of the highest honors in law school. She was admitted to practice law in South Carolina in 1986, and after clerking for a judge on the South Carolina Court of Appeals for two years was then admitted to the California State Bar in 1988. Ms. Brodie has been exclusively representing injured workers in California since March 1990.
In June 1996 Ms. Brodie was certified by the State Bar of California as a Certified Specialist in Workers’ Compensation Law. Ms. Brodie has been a guest on “Your Legal Rights” on KALW, has been a speaker for the San Francisco Industrial Claims Association, a guest speaker at the California Applicants’ Attorneys Association (CAAA), and was selected as Attorney of the Year 2009 by the San Francisco Chapter of CAAA. She also served as the President of the San Francisco Chapter of CAAA from 2011 to 2012.
