Congratulations to Hastings Alum Louis James Menendez, who has been appointed to become newest Alaska Superior Court judge!

A native son has been tabbed to become the newest superior court judge in Juneau, Alaska. Alaska Gov. Sean Parnell appointed Louis James Menendez to the bench Monday, lauding his legal career as a state prosecutor and criminal defense attorney.

Rules regarding legal residence for tuition purposes at Hastings are governed, in part, by the California Education Code and the Hastings Residence Policy as set forth in the Standing Orders of the Hastings College of the Law Board of Directors and the regulations of the General Counsel.
