Renne Public Law Group (RPLG) is proud to secure a final, landmark victory for the Sonoma County Independent Office of Law Enforcement Review and Outreach. By denying a review, the California Supreme Court has affirmed RPLG's win in the Court of Appeal, firmly establishing that labor agreements cannot override or negotiate away voter-approved powers for independent law enforcement oversight.

"The court order gives similar county oversight agencies across California clarity that they can obtain the information needed for effective sheriff department oversight," said Senior Associate Imran Dar.
