Full Picture Justice

Full Picture Justice FPJ is a non-profit investigation office and resource center. We build narratives to challenge the death penalty and advocate for the value of human life.

We collaborate with system-impacted communities to facilitate safety, growth, and resilience. Full Picture Justice (formerly known as CRI) is an anti-death penalty nonprofit resource center serving the people, families, and communities impacted by imprisonment. Our goal is to improve the quality of representation of individuals facing the death penalty in the U.S. and abroad. We also serve as a resource center for communities disproportionately affected by the death penalty.

It's that time of the year again for FPJ'S Alcatraz Swim!
It's a demanding, cold, choppy crossing. It reflects the very heart of our mission:

"Swimming Against The Current" of a system rooted in violence, racism, and punitive action.

We are raising critical funds to continue our work to combat the death penalty and extreme sentencing while providing direct services to the communities most impacted by the criminal industrial complex.

Please visit our website to donate and support the brave swimmers championing our mission!

FPJ opposes the proposal for $60 million in additional overtime funding for SFPD and $30 million for the Sheriff — especially in light of the recent audit revealing extreme overtime abuse and zero oversight.

The audit is clear: SFPD officers routinely violate overtime limits, exploit the 10B private security program while on sick leave, and work grueling hours that put our safety and theirs at risk. This is not fiscal responsibility. It’s not accountability. And it’s not safety.

Join us in expressing your opposition to this proposal.
