It's been a busy August!

We'll need to see rates near 5% to see the real estate market pop. Lack of listings (due to sellers staying put with sub 3% mortgages) combined with buyers sitting tight until rates come down, has created a "stalled" market. I am seeing so much pent up demand in San Diego's real esate market which portends the next acceleration in sales and in values (pricing). A few months ago it looked like that could happen as soon as late 2024 but recent Fed comments suggest it's starting to look like we'll see those lower rates in 2025 followed by a bull real estate market.
