PG&E has killed 100 people since the San Bruno pipeline, they have been convincted of two felonies and tried to get off felony probation a week before the Dixie Fire, Judge Alsurp denied their request citing, amongst other things, the total failure to engage in fire mitigation efforts since Paradise burned. My family home burned in the 2003 Cedar Fire and I have made a legal practice suing utility companies for starting these God Awful and totally preventable fires ( not all fires are their faults or preventable)

But the Witch, Guejito, Thomas, Monticito mudslides, Camp, Zogg, and now Dixie where totally preventable.

My firm Richards Willis PC has a specialized skill set to hold them accountable.

One of these comments calls me an "ambulance chaser" if that means holding a two time felonious company to task for destroying homes and lives, if that means calling out the Paradise Trust for mistreating the 100 families I represent in Pardise, of that means going to the court of appeal to change the law so that Fire victims get " cost of repair damages" instead of the previous and much lower " diminuation in value" damages..... if spending the last two weeks dropping off shampoo, tooth paste, socks and wet wipes so people living in parking lots can have some dignity...................................then I guess I am an "ambulance chaser" and my clients to a man are sure as hell glad that I am.

And as to the poster, I don't take offense, that's a natural reaction, in fact I have been fighting these Mega New York, LA, and SF firms that realized there was value in these cases an signed folks in Paradise saying "their big firm" would have some effect on PG&E. I told folks to make sure they were signing with a firm who knows this specialized area of not one who advertises on the TV and Radio and holds mock "town halls" in big rented out hotel conference rooms.

A year later those folks were calling me back, I give me cell phone out, saying that know one at the big firms calls them back, they don't know their attorneys name, and no one is appealing the initial determination letters.

BTW Richards Willis has appealed 90% of the ridiculous offers being made by the Trust.

So I get the initial name calling. I where it as a badge of honor.

To potential Dixie Fire Clients-you certainly don't have to sign with my firm there are other very qualified lawyers out there, but not all of them are so please please please ask around for the lawyers who have been doing this for 20 years not the big firms who just moved in.

That another year, another Fire season, And the same old story Re: PG&E is again filing mandated PCUP reports acknowledging that the two time corporate felon. The killer of 100 people in back to back pipeline and wildfires, the company that swore to “fix” this after the Camp fire has just “ recommitted” itself to bury the GD power lines. Again they have the dubious distinction of attaining “megafure” stratus begun August!!

Damn that company/

Richards Willis has victims advocates in Plunys County as of yesterday. We can have someone personally meet with you to go over any questions you may have mostly the questions involve how do I handle my own insurance company which is normal.

Just got back from Sacramento and Chico to spend time with victims of Camp Fire.

So happy to report that the one of our clients found the family safe in the ashes! and then separately
found a grandfathers ring by itself. Small victories!

Things are changing quickly up there, particularity those who had Merced Insurance. CIGA is now in control-says they will keep the Merced adjusters on the claims. $500k CIGA limits
Will be available FOR EACH LINE OF COVERAGE. (Confirmed from 3 sources at CIGA). I have not seen that extension to each line in writing, but that would be a huge help.

Make sure you all get consultations from professionals.
