Started with a doubtful client. “It’s too expensive, I’ll never be able to afford it”. With some strategic structuring, and 23 days later, my client can now proudly call himself a homeowner. 🏡
I don’t allow the focus to be on interest rates, nor do I push the edge on the DTI ratio. I always ask what my clients’ goals are, and what monthly payment are they realistically comfortable paying. Because let’s face it, we don’t live off of gross income, nor do we want our clients to be “house poor”. Strategic structuring (and trusting me to pull the trigger to lock the rate at the right time!), while not throwing away 💸 majorly on interest. What works for my clients is what works for me. I don’t work for free, but I’ve never walked away feeling I was after the commission check either.
