Pat was a larger-than-life presence, a strong advocate, a mentor, and a friend to so many. His passion for the law, unwavering dedication to his clients, and generosity toward colleagues left an indelible mark on the San Diego legal community and on everyone fortunate enough to know him.

Stark & D'Ambrosio, LLP will be hosting a Celebration of Life on Thursday, July 2, 2026, at noon at The Princess Pub in downtown San Diego. We invite friends, colleagues, clients, and all whose lives were touched by Pat to join us in sharing stories, raising a glass, and celebrating a life exceptionally well lived.

We hope you will stop by and help us honor Pat's legacy.

In Memoriam: Patrick J. Stark (1964–2026)

It is with sadness that Stark & D’Ambrosio, LLP announces the passing of our founding partner, Patrick J. Stark, on Sunday, June 14, 2026. He passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family.

For over thirty years, Patrick was a distinct presence and a driving force within the San Diego legal community. Together, we built a litigation practice that has proudly served clients across Southern California. His unique courtroom style, undeniable personality, and sharp wit will be remembered by colleagues, opposing counsel, and clients alike.

At this time, Patrick’s family kindly requests privacy as they navigate this loss. Details regarding a memorial service and information on where to send expressions of sympathy will be shared as they become available.
