๐Ÿ“ข The Department of Homeland Security is amending regulations governing the H-1B work visa selection process to prioritize the allocation of visas to higher-skilled and higher-paid foreign workers in order to better protect the wages, working conditions, and job opportunities of American workers. The new rule replaces the random lottery with a weighted selection process that gives greater priority to higher-skilled applicants. Earlier DHS set a requirement for each employer to pay $ 100,000 for each H1B visa employee, so in total with this new requirement H1B program became very limited.
