šØ CASE STUDY: $107,755 IRS DEBT | $1,716/MONTH ā $233/MONTH
I just wrapped up an IRS call for a client who owes $107,755.
The IRS wanted approximately $1,716/month.
I said, āYeah, freen⦠weāre NOT doing that.ā š
After completing Phase I: Diagnose⢠and Phase II: Strategizeā¢, I told my client I believed we could get her payment down to $233/month.
She needed time to think before moving forward with Phase III: Resolveā¢āand I understood. She even had her mama call me to make sure I wasnāt a scammer. š
And baby, her mama DRILLED me.
I told her, āMaāam, you will not get any pressure from me. Make a sober decision. I present the facts, explain what I found, and tell you what I believe I can do. I would NEVER steal from people or lie just to get their money.ā
A few days later:
Invoice sent.
Invoice paid.
Letās work. š
š¾
Today, we established her agreement with the IRS:
š° IRS balance: $107,755
ā IRS proposed payment: $1,716/month
ā
New payment: $233/month
šµ Monthly difference: $1,483
𤯠Projected tax debt savings: MORE THAN $90,000
And the IRS representative tried to request something from my client he shouldnāt have.
I corrected him.
He said, āOh yeah, youāre right. My bad.ā
š DONāT PLAY WITH MY CLIENTS.
Now, this does NOT mean everyone who owes $100K can pay $233/month. Every resolution depends on the taxpayerās individual facts, circumstances, eligibility, and continued compliance.
But for THIS client?
$1,716 ā $233/month.
Thatās why we Diagnose. Strategize. Resolve.ā¢
All tax problems have a solution. š
