Feeling Grateful!

This morning after playing phone tag for a couple of days I got to talk to a potential client from about a year ago. He was so happy and just wanted me to know that everything had finally worked out and that even though we only talked for a couple of minutes and I told him how to handle the issue on his own without paying someone, that short conversation had made a big impact on his family’s life.

Getting calls like that make an entire career worth it. I’m so thankful that because of some little bit of information stored in my brain, I was able to help a family in my community with very little effort 🧠💜 or resources 💰⏳ used. So if you see me this week, I’ll probably have a big grin on my face 😁…and next week I’ll probably have cheek cramps 🤭 because as they say when you give a little, you get a lot!

One of the silver linings to being a "single lady" (as the great Beyonce calls us) is that I don't have to worry about divorce or my former partner inheriting things I wouldn’t want. Breakups aren't exactly fun, but from everything I know in the legal world divorce is soooo much worse. And worse yet, would be Larry's situation of passing away before finalizing things and possibly leaving a big chunk of change to someone he no longer wanted to be with instead of his kids and grandkids. There’s quite a bit that we can all learn from Larry King’s passing and planning…or lack thereof…
