This month, Sharon was featured alongside Kenny in the May 2026 edition of Advocate Magazine, with their articles appearing back-to-back in the issue. Huge thank you to CAALA and Advocate Magazine for the opportunity to contribute and share with the legal community.
While Kenny’s article focused on AI and the future of legal practice, Sharon’s article explored something equally relevant for modern attorneys: how to build trust, visibility, and a meaningful personal brand in a profession where perception and connection matter more than ever.
The article centers around a simple but powerful idea: attorneys do not need to constantly “create content.” The value is already there in the work they are already doing every single day.
In a profession built on trust, people are often forming impressions long before the first phone call, consultation or courtroom appearance ever takes place. Whether through Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, or other platforms, attorneys today have an opportunity to intentionally shape how they are perceived and build familiarity and credibility organically over time.
Sharon’s article shares a practical framework for attorneys who want to show up online in a way that feels authentic rather than performative. From documenting speaking engagements and trial preparation, to capturing meaningful conversations, community involvement, podcast discussions, and day-to-day moments inside a law practice, the article encourages attorneys to stop overcomplicating content and instead focus on documenting the value already happening around them.
The article also explores the importance of consistency over perfection, the long-term value of organic visibility, and how short-form and long-form content can deepen trust with future clients, referral partners, students, and the broader legal community.
“The work is already there. The opportunity is simply to make it visible.”
