Medicare Open Enrollment is here: October 15–December 7.

Choosing Medicare coverage can feel overwhelming, but you don’t have to rely on a sales call to understand your options.

California’s HICAP counselors provide free, confidential, unbiased Medicare counseling. They can help you understand Medicare benefits, compare coverage options,
review prescription drug plans, and get assistance with Medicare appeals or denials.

Call HICAP at 1-800-434-0222 to connect with counseling in your area.

And when a Medicare issue becomes a legal issue, legal assistance or referrals may also be available.

Take the time to review your coverage before December 7. The choices you make during Open Enrollment generally take effect January 1.
