Notaries Public may charge the following
fees under Texas Government Code § 406.024:

Mobile Fees – Traveling Fees Apply: Travel fees are not specified in the law. Such fees are proper only if the notary and signer(s) agree beforehand on the amount to be charged. The signer must understand that a travel fee is neither required nor specified in the law and is separate from the notarial fees described herein. Travel fees range from $25.00 and up depending on time of day and distance traveled. Travel fees will always be discussed prior to departure for your requested service. Due and Payable Upon Receipt:
ALL fees are due and payable on completion of services rendered at which time an invoice – receipt will be issued. Escrow or loan cancellations have no bearing on the payment of fees. We accept only Cash, MasterCard, AMEX, Discover, and Visa. Payment arrangements must be made in advance of services at time of scheduling. A $30 fee applies to all cancelled appointments once we have started the trip to your location. Travel fees (when the Notary is available)
All services are provided by appointment only with two (2) hour advanced notice. At times immediate request for services may be accommodated within minutes depending upon staffing, location, construction, traffic and weather. Services requested within the two (2) hour advanced notice are considered “rush” services and a “rush” service fee will apply. All services are based upon the time of when the services are rendered and NOT when a request for service is made. For example if you call at 10:00 a.m. for service at 4:30 p.m. then the after 4:00 p.m. rates will apply. Mobile Fee: Weekdays – Monday thru Friday

8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. = $25.00 plus $6.00 per notarization
4:01 p.m. – 9:59 p.m. = $50.00 plus $6.00 per notarization
10:00 p.m. – 11:59 p.m. = $75.00 plus $6.00 per notarization
12:00 a.m. – 7:59 a.m. = $100.00 plus $6.00 per notarization
Mobile Fee: Weekends & Holidays – Saturday & Sunday

8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. = $50.00 plus $6.00 per notarization
4:01 p.m. – 9:59 p.m. = $75.00 plus $6.00 per notarization
10:00 p.m. – 11:59 p.m. = $100.00 plus $6.00 per notarization
12:00 a.m. – 7:59 a.m. = $125.00 plus $6.00 per notarization
Fees include 15 miles travel. There is a $1 per mile additional charge for farther distances.
