It's become somewhat fashionable to read banned books! Recently, Utah politicians banned the book "Push" by Sapphire, making it the 37th book to be banned statewide.
At a recent conference attended by our Staff Attorney, Abby Cook, Idaho Supreme Court Justice Gregory Moeller delivered a keynote address about how Harper Lee’s "To Kill a Mockingbird" changed his life. This inspired Abby to revisit the book, even though she had already read it in high school and again in law school. She encourages others to do the same with any banned book.
In a world of book banning, be someone who reads books, talks about books, loves books, and gives the gift of reading to others.
