BREAKING: NY MAYOR MAMDANI HOSTS THE MUSLIM BROTHERHOOD
Mayor Zohran Mamdani just sat down for a “productive meeting” with MAS NY, MAS Brooklyn, and the MAS Youth Center (aka - THE MUSLIM BROTHERHOOD OPERATING IN AMERICA)
This is the same Muslim American Society (MAS) that produced and platforms Abdullah Akl, the Within Our Lifetime leader who stood on October 7, 2025 - the second anniversary in the streets of Manhattan and declared they “didn’t act enough” and will “show up stronger than the first October 7.”
REMEMBER This invitation to a Jihadi organization steeped in Muslim Brotherhood and open anti-Jewish activism comes days after a Jewish man was stabbed on the Upper West Side by an attacker screaming “Allahu Akbar.”
This is the same Akl who led crowds chanting for Hamas to “strike, strike Tel Aviv,” who celebrates intifada, and who operates openly under the MAS banner while spewing open contempt for Jews and non-Muslims.
MAS is not some benign community group.
They were founded in 1993 as the public American arm of the Muslim Brotherhood. Brotherhood members built it. Its own leaders admitted ~45% of active members were Ikhwan.
It trains on Hassan al-Banna and Sayyid Qutb. Internal Brotherhood documents discuss “grand Jihad” to destroy Western civilization from within.
Its political arm under Mahdi Bray spent years defending Holy Land Foundation (Hamas financiers), Abdurrahman Alamoudi, Sami Al-Arian, and a parade of others tied to designated ISLAMIC terrorist groups.
Now Mamdani - who before taking office regularly showed up at WOL rallies and led their chants - is hosting the very network that incubates this hatred.
Their wish list?
Protected prayer times and spaces in public schools, an end to “repression” of pro-Palestinian speech and SJPs (the same speech that includes October 7 celebration and calls for more), more “youth spaces,” and the disbanding of the NYPD unit that has to deal with the street violence these TERROR groups bring.
This is not outreach.
This is a deliberate middle finger to every non-Muslim New Yorker and a green light for the next escalation against Jews after the terror they just cheered.
The mayor is not merely tolerating the enemy within - he is seating them at the table and asking how he can help.
