**DACA is BACKI

In a major development for immigrant communities across the United States, *USCIS is now accepting new DACA applications*! After years of legal battles and uncertainty, young undocumented immigrants-commonly known as "Dreamers"-finally have a renewed opportunity to apply for protection under the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals
(DACA) program.

**What is DACA?**

DACA provides temporary protection from deportation and grants work authorization to eligible individuals who came to the U.S. as children. This program has offered life-changing stability to hundreds of thousands of young people since its inception in 2012.

**Who is Eligible to Apply for DACA?**

To submit a new DACA application, you must meet the following criteria

* You were under the age of 31 as of June 15, 2012

* You came to the U.S. before your 16th birthday

* You have continuously resided in the U.S. since June 15, 2007

* You were physically present in the U.S. on June 15, 2012, and at the time of your application

*You had no lawful immigration status on June 15, 2012

*You are currently in school, have graduated or obtained a certificate of completion from high school, or have been honorably
discharged from the U.S. military

* You have not been convicted of a felony, significant misderneanor, or three or more other misdermeanors, and you do not pose a threat to national security or public safety

**What This Means for You**
If you've never applied for DACA before, now is your chance to gain protection and stability. If you've previously had DACA,
you may also be eligible to renew. Given the history of court rulings and policy changes, time may be limited-don't wait.
