After a brief break from the heat, dangerous summer temperatures are returning to the area. Highs will climb into the mid to upper 90s over the next few days, with heat index values reaching 100° to 105°.
When temperatures get this high, it’s important to recognize the difference between heat exhaustion and heat stroke.

• Thirst
• Nausea
• Weakness
If someone shows these signs:

✅ Seek medical attention if symptoms don’t improve.
Heat Stroke

Heat stroke is a medical emergency.
