On August 27, 2005 we become "one" through holy matrimony. We have accomplished a lot of great things together, and gave me two beautiful sons. Most don't know I set eyes on this woman in 6th grade camp and by 7th grade I asked her to be my girlfriend.
Throughout our school journey we had a few breaks in the timeline until about senior year. Crazy thing is that most of our colleagues were already manifesting what "I thought was a possibility" but that wasn't on my mind at that point in time. We took it day by day, and we would laugh at that comment in a way that only we understood. We have known each other more than three decades. Through the many trials, my wife has been resilient, courageous, patient and understanding even when she thought she could no longer carry the weight of it all. Our marriage has been tested on many occasions, but the enemy didn't have a chance to break what god has created. I thank and praise our God,
lord and savior Jesus Christ, for the works you have done in our marriage . Thank you my love for all of your support and love throughout our journey. You are my number "ONE". Love you with all my heart!

🎓🔥 YEAR 2 WITH JC ESCUTIA AT ELITE! 🔥🏡

This was the 2nd summer JC Escutia came back to intern with us at ELITE, but this year was a little different…

I intentionally gave JC more freedom and independence. Why? Because I wanted to see what he would do when nobody was holding his hand — the same way it will be when he’s running his own company and business one day. 💼📈

And I can say… I was impressed! 👏🔥

His drive, tenacity, curiosity, and willingness to APPLY what he learned really stood out this summer.

We didn’t just talk about real estate — we got into the REAL WORK! 🏠💰

🔍 Skip tracing & finding opportunities
💵 Finding funding for private-money loans
📑 Working through loan conditions
🏚️ Analyzing properties to potentially flip or wholesale
💻 Learning and working from two different platforms
📊 Comparing deals and understanding whether the numbers actually make sense

But one of the biggest lessons I wanted JC to understand was this:

REAL ESTATE IS A BUSINESS. 🏪🏡

You have to treat it like a store with regular business hours — except our store is basically open MONDAY THROUGH SUNDAY! 😂📲

Opportunities don’t always show up between 9–5.

And in this industry, if you want to survive and succeed, you have to be willing to LEARN, ADAPT, EVOLVE & EXECUTE. 🚀

Now JC is heading back to Menlo College for his SENIOR YEAR! 🎓🙌

We at ELITE have truly enjoyed having him back for another summer internship. It’s been great watching his growth from Year 1 to Year 2, and I’m excited to see what he does with everything he’s learning.

Today I sat down with my intern, JC Escutia, to go over one of the most important documents every real estate professional should understand: the Property Profile.

A property profile provides valuable information about a home, including:

✅ Easements and other recorded information

Knowing how to read and interpret a property profile helps us better serve our clients, uncover important facts, and avoid surprises during a real estate transaction.
