things i do as a real estate agent that would be weird in any other career… 👀🤪💭

•walk into strangers’ houses and just... look around.

•text people about their finances at 9:47 PM.

•spend hundred, sometimes thousands of $ before I make one.

•work for 3 months solid and never get paid.

•read 40-page legal documents for fun.

•negotiate six-figure deals from a Target parking lot.

•get emotionally invested in houses that aren’t mine.

•drop everything because the perfect house “just hit the market.”

•drive 3 hours l for a 10-minute showing.

•know intimate private details about people’s lives/marriages

•work nearly every weekend + vacation but still call it “flexibility.”

•monitor interest rates like it’s the stock market.

•tell people double my age to declutter their lives.

•smile professionally while chaos unfolds.

•protect people from making emotional six-figure mistakes.

•risk my paycheck on inspections, appraisals, and clients “vibes”.

happy friday friends, we’re CLOSED on this keizer gem ✨

this home had been sitting on the market for months with little activity before the sellers reached out to me. after walking the property together, we created a super simple but intentional pre-listing plan and completely refreshed their marketing strategy. within a week, we had multiple offers, secured an as-is appraisal waived offer — and we were closed in 30 days.

this Albany home came to me as a referral from a trusted agent connection in Hawaii — and from our very first walkthrough, it was clear we had work to do.

the property needed a full reset. i recommended a complete interior paint (including trim), deep cleaning and deodorizing, junk removal, updated fixtures, and refreshed landscaping in both the front and backyard. to the seller’s credit — he trusted me/the process. because he followed every recommendation, we completely transformed how the home showed to buyers. the result? 🤓 under contract in just 4 days, multiple offers above asking, a strong backup offer in place, and closed in less than 30 days, smooth deal. it was incredible to work with a competent well informed seller, Keith if you see this — you ROCK.
