What do childhood Monopoly games have to do with commercial real estate?

For Salem broker Ian Levin, quite a lot.

Growing up, Ian’s father, Nathan Levin, used Monopoly to teach lessons about investing and the long-term value of real estate — and he never went easy on his kids. Those lessons helped shape Ian’s career, eventually leading him to take over Nathan Levin Co. and become a respected leader in Oregon’s commercial real estate industry.

Thank you to everyone who joined us this morning for our monthly MVAR General Membership Meeting!

We were honored to have the Mid Valley Association of Realtors Community Foundation present a $2,000 grant to Salem Angels and a $5,000 grant to Shangri-La for the incredible work they do supporting families and individuals in our communities. ❤️

We also enjoyed an excellent presentation, Leading Across Generations and Teams, by Dr. Kristine Medyanik, Co-Founder of The Evolving Leader Fellowship, Corban University professor, and organizational psychology expert. Part 1 of a 3 Series set of trainings.

Local ballot measures can impact community services, neighborhood amenities, and long-term quality of life. We encourage voters to:
