When it comes to your health, a second opinion can make a big difference.

Scans like X-rays, CTs, and MRIs contain a lot of information. In a busy hospital, radiologists and doctors may be reviewing countless images and cases every day, sometimes under significant time pressure.

That’s why, if you’re still experiencing symptoms or something doesn’t feel right, don’t be afraid to ask for another set of eyes on your scan.

A second opinion could catch something that was initially overlooked—and potentially change what happens next.

Trust your instincts. Ask questions. Advocate for yourself.

🐾🔥 If it’s too hot for your hand, it’s WAY too hot for their paws.

Florida heat can turn asphalt into a danger zone for your dog. Before heading out, place your palm or bare foot on the pavement for 3 seconds. If you can’t comfortably keep it there, it’s too hot for your pup.

Walk early. Walk late. Stick to the grass when you can. And remember—your dog’s paws can burn before you realize there’s a problem.

Florida heat is no joke. ☀️🥵

When your body starts telling you something is wrong, don’t ignore it. Heat exhaustion and heatstroke can become serious very quickly, especially when you stay in the heat instead of getting somewhere cool.

Headache, dizziness, confusion, nausea, weakness, or feeling unusually hot can be warning signs that your body is struggling.

Get out of the heat. Find shade or air conditioning. Hydrate. And if symptoms are severe or someone is showing signs of heatstroke, get medical help immediately.

Florida summers can be beautiful—but the heat can be dangerous.

Stay cool. Stay hydrated. Look out for yourself and the people around you.

Back to school means more than new backpacks and early mornings—it also means more people sharing the road. 🚌🎒

School buses are making frequent stops. Kids are walking and biking to school. Parents are rushing through drop-off and pick-up. That means we all need to slow down and pay a little more attention.

A few simple reminders:
• Stop when a school bus is loading or unloading children.
• Watch carefully for pedestrians and bicyclists.
• Buckle up—every trip, every time.
• Make sure car seats are properly secured.
• Put the phone away and keep your eyes on the road.

A few extra seconds of caution could prevent a life-changing crash.

Slow down. Stay alert. Get everyone home safely.
