The Friends of the Saint Paul Public Library hosted their Opus & Olives: A Benefit with Friends event on October 11, 2026, bringing together national bestselling authors and hundreds of readers.

This event raises funds to supplement government funding, helping The Friends invest in our libraries and sustain the spaces and resources that are essential to our communities.

Our firm was a proud sponsor of this event! Attorneys Sarah Rolig, Bryce Miller, Allison Maxim, and Kala Swenson attended on behalf of our firm. Bryce Miller is also a proud multi-year board member of The Friends of the Saint Paul Public Library!

Taking a little time to reset during the workday 🧘

Today, we took a break from our desks to do some chair yoga, thanks to guidance from our very own Paralegal, Maren Koncilja! It was a great way to stretch, move, and recharge without ever leaving the office.

It is easy to get caught up in a busy workday, especially in the legal field, so making time for small wellness breaks can help you feel refreshed and give yourself a chance to clear your mind. With just a few moments of movement, we were ready to get back to work and tackle the rest of the week!

Divorce(d) Camp 2026 is in the books!

Attorneys Kala Swenson, Evan Nelson, and Merryn Wier attended Divorce(d) Camp last week.

During the four-day camp, our attorneys reviewed management tools and styles, developed action plans to help manage stress, and learned actionable strategies to address implicit bias, among much more. They are now bringing these tools and strategies back to our workplace and putting them into practice.
