Breakfast, teamwork, and a little friendly competition made for a wonderful second day of Team Days!

After enjoying breakfast together at our Little Canada office, we headed out for an afternoon of game show fun that brought out plenty of laughter and team spirit!

Growth is one of our core values at Safe Harbor, and that includes growing together as a team. We're fortunate to have leadership that prioritizes opportunities for us to connect beyond our daily work, strengthen our relationships, and continue building a culture where everyone feels valued.

A special evening with a very special crew!

We kicked off our Team Days with a team dinner at Baldamar on Monday, and it was such a fun opportunity to get dressed up, share some laughs, and enjoy time together!

Throughout the evening, Margaret took time to share what she appreciates about each of our 25 employees. We also celebrated our team members who have welcomed little ones into their families with beautiful boat figurines!

Moments like these are a reflection of the intentional leadership behind Safe Harbor's culture. We're grateful to be part of a team that values people, celebrates life's milestones, and makes time to invest in one another.

We would like you to meet Christy Vu DePasquale, Attorney at Safe Harbor Estate Law.

Christy brings over five years of experience in estate planning to her work here, including drafting wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and health care directives. She has also guided families through guardianship and probate proceedings in the Minnesota court system.

Her particular passion is special needs planning. Christy works closely with families to set up long-term stability and success for loved ones with disabilities, making sure the legal pieces are in place for the years ahead.

When she is not in the office, she can usually be found on the golf course, bowling alley, pickleball court, or softball field. She is a recreational sports enthusiast who brings that same energy and commitment to her clients.

Last week, Margaret, Christy, and Naomi spent the day at the Minnesota Association for Guardianship and Conservatorship (MAGiC) Annual Conference!

It was a great opportunity to learn alongside professionals who serve older adults and families across Minnesota, with conversations covering everything from trusts and end-of-life planning to guardianship, adult protection, and other issues impacting the people we serve.

Margaret also enjoyed connecting with dedicated professionals who share a genuine commitment to serving others well, including Nate Danielson of Lutheran Social Service of Minnesota and Deb Nygaard of ACR Homes and Arthur’s Senior Care, a recipient of our Salt of the Earth Award!

We’re grateful for opportunities like this to continue learning, strengthen relationships in our community, and connect with others who share our commitment to serving Minnesota families well.

Happy 4-year anniversary, Nate! 🎉

For the past four years, Nate has been an important part of our Client Relations team and often one of the first people our clients get to know at Safe Harbor. His friendly, approachable personality helps people feel comfortable and cared for as they take their first steps with our firm.
