Last week Zach won his election for Judge. It has been a true honor to have had him here in our office.

This has been months of hard work, long days, and true dedication to serving our community, and it all paid off. So well deserved.

We are beyond proud and grateful to have been part of this journey and can’t wait to see the impact you’ll make on the bench.

Auglaize County made a great choice

Twelve years ago to the day, I was sworn in as an Ohio attorney. Since then, I’ve approached the practice of law as a problem solver and I’ll bring that same mindset to the bench.

Thank you, Auglaize County, for placing your trust in me. I’m truly honored to serve.

Thank you to Kristina Morris for running a strong, respectful campaign. She’s a quality candidate, and our county was well served by this race.

This victory wouldn’t have been possible without an incredible team of supporters, friends, and family. From knocking on doors to making calls to spreading the word you made the difference.

Thank you as well to Judge Spees for his service. I look forward to working with him to ensure a smooth transition and continued consistency in the Probate, Juvenile, and Domestic Relations Court.

I’m ready to get to work.

Tomorrow is Election Day! We wish Zach the very best as voters head to the polls. No matter the outcome, he has shown up, worked hard, and represented himself with dedication throughout this campaign. That in itself is something to be proud of.

Over the course of this campaign, we’ve knocked on thousands of doors, made hundreds of phone calls, and mailed well over 20,000 letters and mailers. We have had the chance to meet voters from every corner of the county. Those conversations have meant everything to me: hearing your concerns, your ideas, and what you want to see from your next judge.

Now, we’re in the final stretch, and it’s our supporters’ turn to show up. If you believe in this campaign, I’m asking you to make a plan to vote and help carry us across the finish line.

I also want to say thank you. Thank you to everyone who has put up a sign, shared a post, talked to a neighbor, or simply offered a word of encouragement along the way. Those small actions add up, and they’ve made a real difference.

Attorney, Zach G. Ferrall

Zach Ferrall was raised in St. Marys, Ohio and is a graduate of St. Marys Memorial High School. After high school, Zach earned his bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice from Wright State University, a master’s degree in Criminal Justice from the University of Cincinnati, and earned his law degree from Ohio Northern University.

Since graduating law school, he has spent his entire career in Auglaize County as an attorney and partner at Noble, Montague & Moul, LLC, building a respected general practice focused on estate planning, probate, real estate, business law, family law, and litigation. In 2020, Zach was elected Law Director for the City of St. Marys, and re-elected in 2024, where he continues to serve by advising city leaders, drafting legislation, and representing the city in legal matters.

As law director, Zach attends all meetings of the council and many other city bodies. He oversees the preparation of legislation for the council's consideration and acts as the general legal advisor to the municipality. Auglaize County has a County Municipal Court and the St. Marys Law Director serves as prosecutor for cases filed under city code by the municipal police department. Over his career, Zach has represented the City of St. Marys for various legal actions in local and appellate courts. As part of his duties prescribed by law, Zach is the statutory legal counsel for the St. Marys Board of Education.

Beyond his professional work, Zach has always believed in giving back and “service above self”. He has served as President of the St. Marys Rotary Club, Vice President of MAV Youth Mentoring, a Director on the Auglaize/Mercer YMCA Board, and a dedicated member of the St. Marys Summerfest Committee. His service has been recognized by the St. Marys Chamber of Commerce with the Frank C. Murray Award for volunteerism. Zach was also awarded the prestigious Builder of Bridges Award for community service this year in St Marys, Ohio.

In 2024, Zach was elected District 16 Governor to the Ohio State Bar Association Board, where he helps shape policy and review legislation on behalf of Ohio’s legal professionals.

Whether serving clients, guiding city leadership, or volunteering in the community, Zach Ferrall has built a career rooted in fairness, integrity, and respect for the law.

In December of 2025, Zach filed his petition to run for Auglaize County Common Pleas Court Judge. The election will take place on May 5th, 2026.
