If you have a custody/parenting time order in place, it is not superseded by the Governor’s shelter in place order. You should continue to abide by the court ordered schedule and make the parenting time exchanges. Of course, you should also take precautions to protect the health and safety of you and your children. Follow the recommendations of the CDC and stay safe.

In response to Governor Whitmer’s shelter in place order, and in order to best protect the health of our staff, we will be closing the office to the public after today. This will continue through April 13, 2020. We will continue to monitor and respond to voicemails and emails during this time. Thank you and stay safe.

In light of everything that has been going on with responses to the COVID-19 pandemic, including the closure of local courthouses to the public, we are scaling back our business hours. The office will close at noon today, March 19, and reopen on Monday, March 23, 2020. We will be open from 10:00 am until 3:00 pm, Monday through Thursday. We will continue to assess the situation and update you here as to any other changes. In case of emergencies, we will continue to monitor voicemails and emails.
