Woo Hoo! WUWU’s back.

What’s Up With Us!, is the Real Property Law Section’s monthly real property case law and section update.

This month co-hosts Neil Kalin and Stephanie Germani will discuss the most important and pertinent cases affecting real estate in California.

This month’s cases cover the following issues:

1. Whether a city can protect a tenant from eviction even after failing to pay one month’s contracted rent;
2. Whether the California Coastal Commission or the Courts determine if the CCC can exercise its own appellate jurisdiction;
3. Who determines if an insurance company has adequately investigated a claim;
4. Whether a fine for violating short-term rental rules is excessive; and
5. If attorney fees are recoverable for pursuing attorney fees.

When? Thursday, June 18, 2025, 12-1 pm.

Registration link in bio.

Each attendee will be provided with a copy of the presentation material and self-study certificate in the days following the webinar.

As always, attendees will earn one hour of self-study MCLE for free. Plus, every attendee has a chance to win a gift card for one hour of MCLE credit from the pre-recorded RPLS library.
