We were glad to support events in our area in recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness Month! 💗

We were honored to ride in the 2nd Annual Ruston Breast Cancer Survivors Parade! Special thanks to Angela Mayfield and all of the organizers for putting together such a meaningful event.

We also enjoyed visiting with everyone who stopped by our booth at Farmerville Pink Community Day! Thank you to Claudia Wade and the Union General Foundation for a great community outreach.

We were proud to support Reeves Memorial Medical Center’s 1st Annual Pink Pancake Day, where 600 pink pancakes were served in support of breast cancer awareness!

We appreciate all of the individuals and organizations who work hard to celebrate survivors, remember loved ones, and support those currently fighting breast cancer.

“With nearly two decades in schools both public and private, I see every day how important strong families with accountability set good examples for our children. People serving our community must lead with character, treat people with respect, and remember that their decisions affect our families from young ages. Those are qualities I see in Phillip Ellis, and that’s why I support him for Judge.”

A special thank you to everyone who helped organize and prepare for the event, the Willie Davis Recreational Center, and to The Jambalaya Lady for the delicious food!

“Phillip and I both grew up in Union Parish, and I’ve known him since high school. Over the years, I’ve seen in him many of the same qualities the Marine Corps taught me to value: discipline, honesty, and accountability. Public service is a high calling, and I believe Phillip is ready and qualified to answer that call as District Judge.”

It’s been a full and meaningful week across Lincoln and Union Parishes!

Phillip was honored to support D.A.R.T.’s Radiothon and Jambalaya Fundraiser. Big congratulations to them for meeting their fundraising goal to continue their important work and advocacy for victims of domestic violence. Phillip is also proud to have been a table sponsor for the Willie Belton Hoge Wild Veteran Benefit to recognize and celebrate those who have served our country.

Earlier in the week, Phillip enjoyed speaking to voters at the Union Voters League Meet the Candidate event, and the Ellis family also had a great time at Ruston’s National Night Out. A special thank-you to Dr. Maurice White, Sheriff Stephen Williams, and the Lincoln Parish Sheriff’s Office for hosting this outstanding event.

Phillip rounded out the week with Choudrant’s Trunk or Treat, asking What’s the Best Candy? You Be the Judge! Thanks to Neelie Wilson and Choudrant organizers for a great event and movie night.
