Every week, I see articles predicting housing crashes, bidding wars, market booms & market slowdowns. The challenge? Most of those stories are built around national data.
Here in Royal Oak, Berkley, Ferndale, Madison Heights & Clawson, what I’m seeing is a market that continues to reward preparation.
Well prepared homes - meaning clean, decluttered + organized - that are priced appropriately are attracting strong interest & in some cases, multiple offers.
Buyers are being thoughtful, but when the right home appears they’re moving quickly.
Sellers are receiving market feedback fast. If a home isn’t generating activity early, it’s usually time to revisit pricing, strategy or presentation.
The most important data isn’t what’s happening nationally - it’s what’s happening in the neighborhood you’re buying into or selling from.
