I just:
• Absorb emotional breakdowns about paint colors
• Explain (for the 14th time) that Zillow is… creative writing
• Mediate cabinet arguments like it’s couples counseling
• Stop deals from collapsing over lighting fixtures
• Translate feelings into legally binding contracts
• Gently explain that overpricing is not a personality trait
Somewhere between
“Is this still available?” and “We close tomorrow,”
there are 73 moving parts and exactly zero room for error.
Totally casual…
Yes, I’m “just on my phone.”
… That text just prevented a panic attack, a lawsuit, and a price reduction.
When I first imagined being a Realtor, I pictured:
💃 A glamorous woman.
🗄️Perched elegantly on a desk.
👗 Pencil skirt.
👠 10” heels.
🌬️ Soft breeze magically blowing through perfectly styled hair.
🤳Speaking gently into the phone while effortlessly “closing.”
And then I became one.
Turns out
- it’s less whimsical elegance
and more human generated hurricane at 9:58pm.
- Less floating hair,
more flipping to page 17 of the addendum like it’s a survival manual.
- Less graceful “closing,”
more “why is the lender, the attorney, and the inspector all calling at the same time?”
But yes, suuure…
“I just unlock doors.” 🏡✨😉
