Mortgage Interest Rates have been a long talked about subject. The author of this article might be a bit optimistic. The vast amount of sub-3.5% mortgages held by current homeowners will very likely keep a majority of those potential sellers from ever leaving the home they are in. Regardless of circumstances, it will be extremely difficult for them to make a move without sharply increasing their housing costs if they need to replace their sub-3.5% rate to do it.
