GREEN CARD HOLDERS:

the Supreme Court said that Green Card Holders can be denied entry into the US if the officer simply believes a crime was committed. Innocent until proven guilty does not apply. Burden is on LPR to prove innocence. This is big!! No proof required. If they say you might have committed a crime it is enough. If you have any legal issue and have been arrested it is enough.

If you are trying to apply for immigration benefits PLEASE make sure you are using the current version of the form!!! A rejected form could mean detention or deportation!!

n.b. An alien entering the US on advance parole is an "arriving alien." Meaning if ICE detains - it is expedited removal and no bond! Google it!!

If independent contractor, make sure they invoice for work performed. If their work hours or duties are set by you, they are W2 employees!!
