After serving South Carolina residents for over 118 years, the law firm of Hamilton Delleney Grier & Cotten, LLC is announcing upcoming changes to its organization. Sometime after December 31, 2025, the law firm will close, allowing our two senior partners, Milton Hamilton and Greg Delleney, a well deserved retirement.
This transition will allow Milton and Greg time to pursue other endeavors and focus on time with their families. Milton and Greg will remain part of the firm as they wind down any current cases.
Our partner, Brian Grier, will continue practicing family, disability, injury law and other areas of law with his new firm, GMSH&S in Chester, Richburg and Winnsboro - Look for their formal
announcement today.
Our partner, Nick Cotten, will continue to solely focus his practice in the area of critical injury. Nick’s practice will include, brain injury, wrongful death, medical malpractice and defective
products under his new firm, Nick Cotten Law LLC. Nick remains "of counsel" to HDGC Law during the transition. Nick will maintain offices in Rock Hill and Chester and will continue serving his clients across the state.

Our new Rock Hill office on Main Street has been selected to host the newest Vernon Grant exhibit - The 2019 People’s Choice Award in our window for Christmasville! Come check it out!

Vernon Grant’s Santas art exhibit opens on November 30 at the Center for the Arts, 121 E. Main St., Rock Hill, SC. Grant’s favorite subject, Santa Claus along with his whimsical gnomes, and published scenes of winter are on display in the Dalton and Perimeter Galleries through December 31, 2020....

Congratulations to our partner, F. Greg Delleney, Jr.! On Saturday, May 4, 2019, The Citadel bestowed upon Greg the honorary degree of Doctor of Public Administration. As a Citadel graduate, a former US Navy officer, and former House of Representatives, the Citadel recognized Greg for dedicating his life to public service to his state, his country and his alma mater.
