Going through a separation or divorce is difficult for a multitude of reasons. Grief is real even if you are the one who begins the process. Equipping yourself through the process with education (lawyer) and support (counseling) can help.
Whether it be a health diagnosis, retirement, a child going off to college, or moving away, many of us experience grief before the loss. This type of grief is called anticipatory grief and can feel as overwhelming as the grief felt after the loss. Join us next week to learn about and talk through ways to cope with anticipatory grief.
