It’s the last Friday before Christmas, and one of the most beloved Finger Lakes traditions is happening right now.

Across our towns and villages, Santa is riding through neighborhoods on fire trucks, waving, smiling, and spreading holiday cheer.

This tradition is organized by local fire departments, and schedules vary by community.

How to find when Santa will be in YOUR area:

Check your local fire department’s page

Visit your town or village website

Look at your community Facebook groups

Watch for posts from your chamber of commerce

Keep an eye on local bulletin boards and school pages
